After your download is finished, open or 'run' to install it.
These suggestions depend on your system configurations & how you want your machine to behave.
We suggest you create a RESTORE POINT (Look in 'System Tools' > 'System Restore')
BEFORE you make any changes to your system, and if
your system goes wacky, revert to the restore point.
Next, you will need to set the QT Player properties in
order to play Quicktime media (or other formats)
Open the QT Player

On XP, go to       START> All Programs> Quicktime;
...on the
top line click 'Edit';
...click '
Preferences';
...click '
Quicktime Preferences';
...click '
Browser';
...check box       '
Play movies Automatically';
and near the bottom...
...click  'MIME settings';
for Quicktime Virtual Tours ONLY,
check these boxes:
Streaming
Video
If you want the Quicktime Player to handle ALL of your media needs,
check
All the boxes and the boxes in their sub categories.

Now click 'OK' to get back to the 'tabs' window,
and here click '
File Types'
and check these boxes:

Again, if you want the Quicktime Player to play ALL of your media needs,
check All the boxes
and the boxes in their sub categories.

Click 'OK' to save and exit setup.

Bodega STRONGLY urges all surfing be done using
the 'FIREFOX' browser.
It works
seamlessly with our Virtual Tours,
and it is inherently
safer to use for most surfing.

SPECIAL ADVISORY
from Bodega Consulting
Beginning in late November, 2007 there appeared 'in the wild' exploits for RTSP & Quicktime player.
See this URL for further details:

If you are using 'Firefox'
be advised to install the add-on application 'No Script' (go here).
Using '
Firefox' with 'No Script' will detect script within the RTSP feed, and prevent further action.
Bodega Consulting has NEVER produced Virtual Tours
that included scripting of any kind.
If you visit any site that claims to have 'Quicktime' virtual tours, and using your
'Firefox' browser with 'No Script' add on that forbids the display of that 'Tour'
BEWARE:  THE SITE YOU ARE ON may have  BEEN COMPROMISED
&
MAY NO LONGER BE A SAFE ONE!
Internet Explorer may not reveal this situation!
For help understanding why 'Active X' (scripting) is NEVER a good idea
go to the Bodega Consulting page here
